teraterm giving problem with uart

i am using teraterm for downloading some file with a controller.
later when i am using any other program for uart it is not working fine.
plz help me i am in bigg trouble

Hi,
Is it because the software is leaving the serial port programmed to some nonstandard settings? Does the port in question become ok after a power cycling? Is there any option in the software to set the port back to default state while exiting the software?

when i am working with hyper terminal there is no probs

but some case i cant use hyper terminal bc it dosnt support macro

what setting difference b/w treterm and hyper terminal?
