Hello,

I've seen a few digital oscilloscopes with GUI written in Tcl/Tk.
I want to ask if Tcl/Tk is suitable for an audio real time spectrum display, with a refresh rate of 5-10 frames/s, in terms of efficiency, low resources. The spectrum computation will be done in C. Is this a too intensive graphics app for Tcl/Tk, and I should rather use Gtk? Python would be more appropriate, though it uses Tk in the end?
If you now an example application related to this please post.

Thanks
