tapped boost

hello,

does tapped inductor boost converter stop current spikes going through the fet when it switches on?

"normal" boost converters give such a spike becasue the schottky boost diode has capacitance and when fet turns on. it gets charged up via the fet.....this spike of current is evil for EMC compliance
