Synplify pro error "Reference to unknown variable glbl

reference to unknown variable

I am getting error during synthesis for OBUFT and OBUFTDS for spartan-3 fpgas. The error is

OBUFT and OBUFTDS used glbl.GTS signal in thier codes. So I added glbl.v , OBUFTDS.v and OBUFT.v files in the working folder and then tried to synthesis with synplifyPro... but its still giving error "Reference to unknown variable glbl "

What is the solution?

You shouldn't have to move files around like that. Maybe you have a bad Synplify installation.

Can you compile this? It works fine here.

check the synplify pro's installation lib.
