synchronous data link in spi

we say spi is synchronously send and receive datas.but see this image.sending and receiving are at different clock pulses
 

Synchronous means that the data send or received is synchronous with the clock(SCK). MOSI and MISO are just data line. If the data is not changing it stays High or Low.
