Hello,
We wish to use Four interleaved & synchronized PFC stages (1.9kW each)

We wish to use the ICE3PCS01G PFC controller IC, but note that page 19 of its datasheet says it can only be synchronised from 50khz to 150khz. We want to synch it at exactly 50khz……do you think we are too close to the 50khz limit?

Also, page 11 shows how the controller is sync’d…..do you think a microcontroller output could do the sync’ing? Also, do you know for how long the sync signal has to be high for? The datasheet doesn’t say..

I presume the sync signal just has to put more than 2.5V at the FREQ pin?

Page 18,19 of this app note also speaks of sync’ing but again doesn’t say the duration of the sync signal…
