I would like to design a switching power supply that provides different voltages for a circuit I designed.
I need a double voltage (+/- 3v) and two other voltages (+ 5v, +12v).

I have no experience with the design of such power supplies and I ask you:
1) Are there any guidelines?
2) I don't think a transformer exists with all the tensions that I need, can I build it myself?
3) Is it convenient to build it?

what is your vin?
What are the powers of those rails?

Kashke (kaschke?) , i think its German, do offtheshelf flyback trasnsformers, possibly for your application.

If your power source is mains , why not download the "PI Expert " software from power integrations and stuff in your spec...it will design the whole thing for you.

If you want all of those voltages from a single switch
and single core you will see cross-regulation as an issue
(one winner, N "also-rans").

If you are in it for amusement / education, then you
can go ahead and play. If you are really looking to
get a power solution for some other care-about, then
I'd recommend maybe confine your design effort to
the "distribution bus converter" (say, the battery to
regulated 12V) and then hang +5, +3, -3V DC-DC
modules off the distribution bus (easy enough to find
12V in, "whatever" out, tiny DC-DC modules - even
ones that look like 7805 (with a chubbier case, but
the same low-external-component-count)).

That way you get to stick a toe in the ocean without
losing a foot.

I would like to use directly the voltage (220V / 110V) if possible

I should try it. Where can I find it?

You can customize the battery so you don't have to bother yourself so much
