Hi

Is there an online HTML or an Excel calculator to calculate power loss/dissipation of switching MOSFETs in BUCK synchronous DC/DC converters?
I found formulas online, and in datasheets, but those are useless in practice as they only explain what is happening, but there are always 1-2 unexplained or not provided variables. Without knowing the value for those variables the calculation is impossible. Often the variable is not provided in the MOSFET or controller datasheet, or it has to be calculated from other variables but the equation for that is not provided (anywhere on the internet).

Which switching regulator you are using if it is form TI or linear etc they will have online tool to design switching regulator which will show all detail like BOM, graphs, schematic etc....
