For example: Link does not have switching frequency ? Is it possible to get power dissipation of a dc-dc boost converter?

Right there, on page 4, is a graph of SWITCHING FREQUENCY VS. LOAD. Upvote 0 Downvote

PFM means Pulse Frequency Modulator. Thus the frequency changes with load ... in a wide range. In opposite the PWM regulator: Pulse width modulator. It varies the duty cycle ... while the frequency is about constant. Klaus Upvote 0 Downvote
