Can i use or gate for switching instead of relay? Here 1 Input (high or low signal)given from microcontroller 2nd input kept dummy. If microcontroller output high or gate output also high then can i use this voltage to drive another circuit(5volt ) insted of using relay?.Beccause relay consumes more power from battery. So we can avoide fast discharging of battery?.Please help me.
Thanking you,

if both the ckts are working @ low power levels then it can be possible.(depending on design)

think of optocouplers /optoisolaters also.

post ur system to get more help from forum.
