Switch_mode+Battery charge

Hi am trying to design a switch mode power supply with two modes, Mode1:a variable output(0-17V),capable of 5A and 500mV ripple @ full load. Mode2: a lead acid battery charger 14.7 fixed output capable of delivering 5A. Both modes must have short circuit protection on output and current limit with led indication.

I am looking for circuit diagram that have the same concept in design as the design specifications mentioned above(It must be basic ).So that Ihave guidelines before starting my design.
