Hi all!

I am fairly new to electronics so i might ask a dumb question.
I have 4 Foxconn PWM fans (12V, 0,39A) and I want them to power from a power adapter. I have a 12V, 2A adapter but the question is:
Will the adapter only supply as much current as the fans need (each 0,39A) or will it provide 0,5A to each fan?

Fans draw ("take") as much current as they need. In your case they draw 0.39A each so the total is 1.56A and the 2A adapter should work fine.
The 2A figure for the adapter is the limit it can produce, nothing to do with what is actually drawn from it.

Brian.
