I wonder if this thread is in the right category
But i'm reading the paper "Performance analysis of selection decode-and-forward relay networks" of T.Q. Duong and V.N.Q. Bao.
And I don't know what the Summation sign in eq.(4) means , It has too many indices.
The authors express those indices as \[ n_{1}, n_{2},....,n_{k} = 1 \] and then \[ n_{1} < n_{2} < ... < n_{k} \] under the same summation sign ?????
\[ \sum\limits_{\scriptstyle {n_1},...,{n_k} = 1 \hfill \atop \scriptstyle {n_1} < ... < {n_k} \hfill} ^K {} \]
\[\sum\limits_{\scriptstyle {n_1},...,{n_k} = 1 \hfill \atop \scriptstyle {n_1} < .... < {n_k} \hfill} ^K {}\]
I think it means: n1 from 1 to K, n2 from 2 to K, n3 from 3 to K... and so on.
Can so help me with this ?
