actually now i'm working with code composer studio for programing and debugging arm9 programs. but i cannot simulate the codes which i've developed without the development board (omap kit)
i want to simulate peripherals like uart and pwm etc, can you give me any methods for the same?
it is a great simulator for all type of controllers But on windows
and for Fedora hmmm..... I have to search
but there are not so many simulators available for linux
if you can go for windows then PROTEUS in best
are you from India...? Just for knowledge purpose I want to ask you what's your application in what type of application is this ARM9 generally used. I have only a bit of knowledge of 8051 & PIC
Either you are looking for a free tool XOR you are looking for a real time emulator. Real-Time for an ARM9 would either involve newest ASIC technology with massive gate count or an ETM interface, an external emulator and the ARM9 hardware itself.

The development kit, though not really cheap is BY FAR the lowest cost option to do real-time debugging.
A peripheral simulator for ARM9 is many men years of software development, I doubt you will find one fro free AND absolutely sure it has nothing to do with real-time
i am planning to use arm9 for a real time cruise control which needs lots of signal processing also. but it is very difficult to find a real time simulation environment for arm 9. now thinking to use separate controllers for that...
