I need to design and implement an 8bit ADC and I don't know how to design the logic for a SAR. My teacher said I needed to come up with the state diagram in order to design it but that's the part I don't know how to do. Can anybody help me. I take anything from $-tutoring to suggestions. Thanks.
 

first read it..so that you get some idea..getting???
 

I have read the documentation already and I have an idea. However i have no experience on the matter even less with state machines. That's why i'm looking for someone that can share some light.......
