STM8 microcontroller programming help

Hi,

On my next project I have to program a STM8S207K8T6C microcontrollor, it is an 8bit mcu.
I have a big problem, since now I have worked only with PICs, and I don't have experience on ST mcus.
Could you help me please with some tutorials, application notes, or examples? It would be better to be in C.
Also, I would like to know what software environment to use, in order to write my code.

I installed the StVisualDeveloper, I wrote a "Hello World" program, and when I compiled it, I got an error.
Could somebody help me to fix the Compiler?
