I need to design Step up transformer for boosting rf input voltage. Here I am attached equivalent circuit of step up transformer..In that how to find parasatic effect of the inductor. Please give some reference to design Step up transformer in ADS 2009
1) Use Momentum. ADS 2009 is quite old; try to use at least ADS 2011.
2) Pay attention to port settings especially single or differential port setting (Whichever you need)
3) Expressions used for extracting L and Q are sometimes tricky.
4) To increase k and efficiency of the transformer, employ broadside coupling if you can.
