Hello everybody!
I use Quartus II Web Edition 12.1 and ModelSim SE 10.1c (not Altera Edition).
I have projected a synchronous single process state machine with a reset state and other 11 states.
After the successful compilation of the design, I can see in the RTL Viewer the architecture of the design and here the state machine is represented by the characteristic yellow box with the correct inputs and outputs, but the State Machine Viewer doesn't display any bubble-diagram: if I click on the "Encoding" tab all the states are shown in the state table, but nothing in the "Transitions" section.
No error messages are reported.
When the project was young and the state machine not so complicated, the State Machine Viewer displayed correctly the bubble-diagram. But when I started to develop the machine and to add some if-conditions, the bubble-diagram wasn't shown anymore.
It looks like the transitions bubble-diagram representation is a problem for Quartus II and the State Machine Viewer isn't able to display a complicated state machine.
ModelSim recognises the state machine and simulates it without problems.
How can I get the bubble-diagram of my machine?
Thanks a lot.
