Dear all,

I have a problem regarding the measure stability at 0 degree with ST L3G4200D gyroscope device.
The problem is that when I turn on my board in rest position, the 0 angle begins to increase; my board is contained in a case, so my doubt is that maybe the problem is just the increase of the temperature inside the case, because gyroscope datasheet reports a temperature drift of about 0.03 dps/°C. If it is so, how do you think I compensate this drift in temperature with an external circuitry?

Thank you very much in advance,

Al

This chip outputs the temperature in digits, so you can find its own temperature. So you use your processor to take the "digital" temperature as a variable and use its value to correct the value of angle read.
