I have spice model *.mod of some IC. I can view it as text file.
How to make model in Orcad Schematics/Capture (graphic representation) with parameters from *.mod file?

Regards.

Spice models are different for different tools. You are not well-trained enough to create a Spice model for yourself.

In previous version of pspice you could use parts.exe to create models of elements. You could try to generate your model using parts.

You can use model editor in OrCad. You can refer the Pspice user guide Appendix C. Let me know if you need more information.

Hi,

Look at the syntax used inside your .mod file. If it looks like a standard spice or pspice syntax, remane the ".mod" file to ".lib". Then add it to the library list of pSpice and try a simulation by using it. Dont forget to create a schematic symbol for this model.
