Hi,

I am wondering how to find Spice model of the devices which I would like to include in my Schematic. Are they free available on the website of manufacturer ? What is the file extension of such files ?

Spice models are free available at manufacturers and other sources. Spice model is usually txt file which starts with .SUBCKT and ends with :ENDS. What extension to that file you will use depends on your simulation software. One of them is .mod but depends.
Use Google with spice models or BC547 spice model for example in search window.

In fact I want to add BD139 and BD140 in my Schematic which I could not found in the Library of DxDatabook in DxDesigner. How should I add these two components in DxDesigner in central library so that I can use them in future in other Schematic.

Here is Spice library containing your transistors with variants and much more.

Dear Borber,

Many thanks for your reply and attaching "mpbjt.lib".

But in DxDesigner when I click Setup = > Setting = > Project = > Central Library Path.

I found this Library path: D:\Program_Files\Expedition_7.9.5\7.9.5EE\SDD_HOME\standard\templates\pcb\Central Library

I see a library file there which is "CentralLibrary.lmc" in which BD139 and BD140 are not present. Therefore, I want to give path of your library to refer / include your library. But the file extension of your library is .lib which I do not know how to include. Please help me how to include your library "mpbjt.lib" instead of "CentralLibrary.lmc".
