spi related how many slave can communicate with master and distance betweem.

anybody how many slave can communicate with the master and how long the distance we can provide between master and slave....

Hi Friend

you can use as many slave device as your master has Slave select Pin.
But communication possible between Master and any one slave at a one time.

For distance,
Keep sort distance between master and slave as possible(about 5 to 10 cm on one circuit board)
otherwise there is data lose problem.

the distance purely depends on the data rate and frequency of SPI.... and the cable used...

5 to 10cms is not a derived distance..
