Hello,
i need an speed prediction of an running engine.

I heared i can do this with an Tracking Algorithm like the Kalman-Filter.

Does someone have an VHDL or Verilog implementation.

Thanx

you can do estimation and tracking using the karman filter. But you need to have the state and state tranisition defined for your problem.

Hope this helps

WHy need to a speed prediction? when sensing any of th rotation sensors, you know the speed already.

Because, I get only one Pulse per Rotation and thats not enouth. I try to calculate the drift (bias) of the speed signal.

Does anyone have an VHDL implementation of the Karman-Filter for speed prediction.

Thanx
