Hi,
I want to start FPGA with the following boards.
Spartan-3E Starter Kit (HW-SPAR3E-SK-US) Xilinx Development Boards
With this board, Can I see status of code in fpga. For example, I use the counter in my code . Count pulse coming from buton. Can I see the count value using this board and software. in other words, can I need some additional equipment for my REQUEST?
 

u need chipscope which is provided with the board but an evaluation copy of 30 days only.

Either to use Chipsope or you can output some internal signals to the FPGA pads then watch them using a Logic Analyzer.

chipscope is a gud tool for these types of evaluations....u can find a free evaluation version from xilinx website......and if lucky from a torrent.....try searching for it on google....
