Spartan-3AN and Parallel Cable III

Hi,

Can I configure Spartan 3AN using Parallel Cable III. I allways get following message from Impact:

'1': : Manufacturer's ID =Unknown
INFO:iMPACT:501 - '1': Added Device UNKNOWN successfully.

.... I get a lot of this message.

The design should be targetted to that particular device. i.e
project properties should reflect the exact spartan device.

In simple words part selected in the ISE tool should be same as that of the actual one on the board.
