Hi,
I'm using HspiceRF to simulate an LNA.
The model of Inductors are an Sparam so I use TSTONEFILE=data.s2p.
In the simulation, I get the following warning for different frequencies: "S parameters are not passive at (value of freq) Hz. Will be regarded as noiseless.

No.
If s2p is passive, |s11|**2+|s21|**2<=1.0 and |s12|**2+|s22|**2<=1.0 have to be satisfied.

How do you get S-parameter for inductor ?
And what analysis do you use ?

I get it from an EM simulation (*.snp: magnitude and phase vs. frequency for s parameters and *.sri: real and imaginary part vs. frequency for s parameters) so I use the snp file as s2p for TSTONEFILE.
Example of simulation in .snp file:[1e9 0.0267 1.408 0.982 -0.105 0.982 -0.105 0.026 1.40]

.ac dec 50 1g 3G
.LIN noisecalc=1 sparcalc=1
.print AC S11(DB) S22(DB) S12(DB) S21(DB) NF

I use this to simulate LNA
