sounded robot possible?

hi ya, i am doing a robot that can be activated by sound and suided by sound.. using 1 pic16f877A and 2 microphones and a dc motor controll board. any one any comments, do u think this is possible? as the noise .. of the motor.. and every thing that needed to be taken notes.

yes it is possible.u ve to capture the sound from two sides of the robot.this signals should be conditioned before connecting to adc channels of 877a.the signals frm 2 sides is compared to get the direction of sound
