Where can I download some paper about the theory of DEM techniques for Sigma-delata DAC?
and, who can explain the encode rule of the signed thermometer code?

DEM is relatively easy to understand.
Many papers are available.
it is difficult to determine the structure of the system,
especially the structure of the modulator.
