Can any one tell me How to learn the basics of SOC Encounter?. Posting any training materials will be appreciated..

Just reading through the user guide that comes with the software would be a good start.

SOC Encounter

SOC comes with an example design to use while you learn their flow. As long as you have access to an SOC installation you should be able to use it.

I do have access to the installation area.. I couldn't find any example design there.. I could find the "gifts" folder with lots of scripts...

read the manual and try to do a simple design!

u can find sample design and library in learning.cadence.com
register and try for internet learning module.
