hello, everyone thanks for all of the contribution each and everyone provides in this forum. I'm on the process learning how to program PIC microcontrollers using "MikroC Pro for PIC" software.Till now I have some ideas on how to write programs . But now my interest are on writing program to interface GSM modem and be able to read the sms/ new incoming sms and also being able to send sms towards any mobile phone. Please anyone to help me ............................

there are many posts on using GSM modem to send/receive both SMS texts and TCP/UDP packets
do a forum search on GSM modem

Thanks horace1 and the forum in general for giving me directions and I got what I want.
