smart indenting in verilog

could any one help me about how to find a command in the xilinx or any other free program to make auto indenting(smart indenting)

I dont think the Xilinx and Quartus text editors do much more than syntax highlighting. Like I said, you're better off getting another text editor.

Since you asked about xilinx ... The only thing missing is some cosmic radiation or you'd think you were in deep space; the editor in ISE generates hard vacuum. It does a decent job of highlighting, but that's about it.

You could take a look at SVEditor or the obligatory emacs modes.
