Small smps needed, if possible smallest as possible.

Voltage input 110V/220V to 12V-24V 0,4A-1A.

Please, can someone help me?

Hi Polona and Welcome to EDABoard forum,

Tell me you want SMPS (switching) or iron transformer design ?

Also we need to clear, voltage regulation is needed in range from 12V to 24V ?

SMPS design can be very small. Also there is small sealed AC/DC converters in shops, but its not cheap can be up to 20eur.

Thanks for the welcome

Smallest as possible psu is needed, smps I guess, and fix voltage 12V or something in that range between 12 and 24V.

Check TNY TinySwitch-II Family chips. For example TNY268,...

https://mkpochtoi.narod.ru/TNY268_ds.pdf

These IC family price in my country is around 1-1,5eur.

Also you can buy small fabricated transformers for this ICs, according to your voltage and current needs (price under 2eur).

This is very interesting, I should search for this IC.

Where I can get transformer for this?

How to make PCB for this?

What are dimensions for transformer?

For transformer search DigiKey or some other parts distributer, in my country I found transformers in Comet company, also they provide datasheet for transformers, you can look in these PDFs:

TNY serie

See this for example:

For PCB you can see example of PCB in part datasheet on page 12. Its just example, this can be smaller.

This is great. Transformer is 20mm x 20mm. This will be ok for me.

Yes transformers have various dimensions according to their powers. Also check other manufacturers, maybe you will find low profile transformer. I think its better to by new fabricated and tested transformer then make at home.

You can find is PC PSU lots of small transformers, they can be easily dissasembled in hot boiling water. I extract and dissasemble about 1-2kg of these miniature and other sized transformers, but if there is fabricated for small money then this is right solution. Always you can make more devices with small effort.

If you find corresponding quality fabricated transformer for your specification, always go with this. Safety reason is just one of aspect for this. These days prices for this small transformer are not to high.

Check these small SMPS projects, voltage and currents can be adjusted to your needs, read description text :

Here is DigiKey AC-DC converters list :
