I have an eval board. It requires SMA connectors for DC input (3.3V).
Please let me know any reason for supplying DC thru SMA connectors (if fact any coaxial cable interface), especially for low DC voltages.
Also, please let me know any precaution while using the same. ( im guessing it should be straight forward soldering i need to do! - to give return on SMA body and +ve on center pin).
It's somewhat odd, but besides the added cost of the connector/cable, there's really no downside. Moving DC supplies over coax may be beneficial if there are sensitive high frequency circuits nearby.
