Hi all,

I am designing a slow-wave coplanar waveguide for a mm-wave IC, in CMOS process. I was wondering, can these transmission lines be simulated using a 2.5D simulator like EMX or Momentum? Or does it require something like HFSS?

Thanks.

I have seen designers simulate them using planar MoM solver, in that case it was Sonnet. There is no reason why HFSS would be required or "better".
