Single Phase Matrix Converter Design

hi,

I want to implement a single phase matrix converter as shown in the attached file.
I want to implement buck topology . I am confused about the implementation PI control.I want to generate PWM using PIC micro controller. And for PI i want to use op amp based circuitry .ADC will read the value of PI .Is it possible to do that?
