hi
can u give me some sort of a circuit which could accept a value and then calculate the trignometric sin of that value and output it??

regards

1. a lookup table located into a PROM; practically the address data is the input value and the output data is the "computed sinus"...

2. use the nonliniar region of a dioda.

3. do a polinomial serie sine aproximation.

hope this helps,

hi andreibuuu
can u explain me how the sin calculation can be done with the help of a diode??use of look up table is not something i want ..so,i want that to be a bit simple..so,if it is possible using a diode , it would be easy..

with regards

I hope this helps,

regards,
//a

PS: the design is based on tanh(x)=sin(x) for x<<1
