how to measure signal power

Hi,

In Matlab simulink, I have a modulated band limited signal, how to measure the signal power and the noise spectrum density of that signal? Which block/ equation to use?

Thanks a lot

Find the peak voltage level...square of it will be power simply...

or Calculate PSD over unit bw....that is power.......:D

it is a modulated signal --> many sidebands/ harmonics. and it is a band limited signal --> the spectrum is shapped by the BPF. are you sure the power can be simply calculated by square the peak voltage?
