hello everybody

when I run an embedded project in matlab simulink the following error appears

Unable to locate 'mexopts.bat', and therefore cannot determine which compiler to use for simulation builds.
Use 'mex -setup' to select a supported compiler.

does anybody know what should I do?
I'll be grateful if you answer me as soon as possible.
thanks

Your Program may include the support of any external batch file "mexopts.bat" , that compiler unable to find try to find the code .. regards to that file used the command

system ('mexopts.bat');

that will workout with you i guess .. thats how i am able to run the batch file in MATLAB / Simulink

Did you update the Matlab program? most probably it is a compiler problem
Install a Matlab-compatible compiler and run the setup again.

Thanks every body finally I installed the matlab 8 version and I run it. I don't know why the last version of it is more better.

I've always found older versions of Matlab (like 7.1,7.5 and 8 too) helpful so I stick with the old, besides there's lot to learn in Matlab to be a master of it, learning in the older version is easier and less complex, however as you learn you can always update to a higher version.
