Hi All,

My first post in this forum.

I have tried to To turn on Sleep mode in SIM900.

1. For AT+CSCLK=2 , I get OK reply, and after 5-7 sec. serial comm. turns off. But current is not reduced and ~50 mA current is drawn still.

2. For AT+CSCLK=1, Serial stops, I pulled DTR pin high, but still its drawing 50mA,

What is exact problem, please help

How did you confirm that it is still drawing ~50mA...

If the modem entered sleep mode then the current consumption should only be 1.5mA...
