I have a sim900 ring indicator (ri) that goes low on a call. If I assert a low (faking a call) to my microcontroller, it transmits to the sim900 I get data back etc... everything works fine. When there is an actual call and RI goes low, the sim900 seems to ignore any serial communication from the micro-controller.

I am new at the serial communication with a modem.... Anything I should look into? Thanks for any help.
