SIM900 cannot register to network.

Hy All!

I bought a SIM900A module from China on Ebay, I use an active Telenor Sim Card... But if I want to check the CPIN? It send an Error "Sim not Inserted"... but the Sim is inside.. If I test the AT+COPS? command the answer is "0" ( which means the module will connect to the network automatically ?)
and if I use AT+COPS=? read command, I can see the usable networks.. where is the Telenor Network...

What should I do? .. I have done a full tutorial about AT Commands...but I'm absolutely puzzled.

Otherwise I have used a Vodafone sim and it has worked correctly... The Sim test was ok, I could write the PIN code... and the module detected the sim card(I mean: I haven't got any "SIM Card not inserted " CMS or CME error..)

I Found an ATCommand what can tests the registration status of the module... I have got "0.3" which means "registration denied" but it was before I have activated the SIm card

1. First of all make sure the sim is activated by putting in a mobile and try to make call and sms..
2. If the sim is activated as per the above step, then pls check the sim connector connector in the board, and also your sim connector pin outs..

A SIM900A will only work in Asia, you need to use SIM900.
