sim300c datasheet

Hello everybody,

I've just received SIM300C module and evaluation board. The common way I know of controlling the SIM300C module is to connect it to a µprocessor via serial pins and to program the µprocessor (sending/receiving AT commands).

But when I look at the datasheet of SIM300C I recognized that it has General purpose input & output pins as well as keypad & Display interface pins.

So for me it is obviously that there must be a possibility to program the SIM300C module directly – isn’t it? I mean compiling own program, uploading to module and
making use of General purpose input & output or keyboard pins.

But I couldn’t find a note on it. How do the assembler commands look like? Is there a SDK?

Does anybody know more about it?
