SIM300 signal new sms

Hi,
I bought the sim300 and I tried to send and call but I need to know if there is a option or a function that it can alert me when a sms is comming.
Because I connected the sim300 with Fez Domino through serial port and I would like to check if one cable give me a signal because everytime to check the inbox is too slowly.
 

nobody can help me?
 

GSM modems have the option to report delivered SMS by unsolicited result codes (free running messages). Check the SIM300 AT command manual for the AT+CNMI command that enables this result codes.
