Service manual for the Radio Shack DX-440

I'm new to this forum so forgive what I'm sure is not a new request. I need the schematic or service manual for the Radio Shack DX-440. The receiver has lost sensitivity and I gather from reading previous posts that this could be due to having shorted the antenna connector. Does anyone know what happens when you do this?
