Hi sir,

i'm currently doing a project on tribology. My task is to program a peristaltic pump to turn it ON and OFF using Matlab. I have no idea on how to program the serial ports in the pump and i need to convert hex codes to decimals as well. Please help me on the coding with some clear explanations. Thank You;-)

What model of peristaltic pump are you utilizing?

Have you download or obtained a hard copy of the manual?

If you have a PDF of the user manual can you upload to the forum?

I can assist you with using the serial port through the MATLAB API.

Serial Interface (RS-232 and RS-485) and MATLAB

MATLAB serial - code example

BigDog

I am using BT100-1L peristaltic pump. The codes should convert the hex string to decimals to turn on, off and control the rpm speed of fluid flowing through it.I have attached the protocol used in it.
Thank u sir.;-)
