hello, I am builfing this connection from the ICSP port of a micro to the serial eprom. The serial eprom must connect to the ICSP of the micro when the ICSP is not used for programming.

I want to leave the eprom connected to the ICSP when programming the micro. Just to make sure that the eprom will not be damaged when programming the micro, is it enough to cut off the power to the eprom (using a jumper) during programming?
Or do I need to completely isolate all the ICSP pins to the eprom dusing programming?
