SENDING SMS THROUGH GPRS

Hi,
I am new to the GSM/GPRS modem world!!
Using SIM100 GSM/GPRS modem, i want to send sms through GPRS!
I tried the following set of commands,but it gave me error!!
Can anybody please help me??

AT
OK
AT+CGATT=1
OK
AT+CGSMS=0
OK
AT+CMGF=1
OK
AT+CMGS="+919841628324"
> MESSAGE THROUGH GPRS
+CMS ERROR: 515

Are you sure your provider supports this? SMS is a big money maker for Cell Service providers. Most providers disable SMS over GPRS since they lose the SMS revenue. I know thet in the US neither AT&T/Cingular nor T-Mobile support it.

I am not sure whether my network provider does support the service of sending
a sms through GPRS connection!
I wanted to confirm the sequence of AT commands that has to be issued(assuming
my network provider supports SMS through GPRS)
Is there anything wrong in the sequence??
