Hello, I am trying to use a FT245R chip to send some signals from the computer to a device.

I am a beginner so I don't really understand how to do it completely. I see there are drivers that i should install and some .dll libraries I should use, but how do I actually send a byte through it?

When I call the FT_Write function, does that byte that I specify go to the D0-D7 data bus bits on the chip?
