Hi
Does anyone know what is the meaning of a "semi-circular arc with spikes" symbol? I've come across this in so many SMPS schematics.

Thank you

Hi,

I guess it´s meant as "heatsink". "HS" does also match.
But i don´t think it´s a standard schematic symbol for a heatsink.

Yes, its for Heatsink....the curve kind of "encloses" the component to which its connected, and the lines are the heatsink fins
