Hello ARM masters,
I worked on avr/pic 8 bit and dspic mcus. Now I want to use arm processors for good quality video streaming through 3g modem.
I need your initial suggestions about which ARM will I use for androit OS.

Thanks in advance

Are you planning to run the Android OS on your processor? If so, it is far more easy to choose a chipset which already has a developed Android port for it. You can go to the android developer site https://source.android.com/ to review what ports for various vendor chipsets are readily available, and choose which has the best set of functionality and resources for your needs. I would personally have a preference for one of Texas Instruments' OMAP family myself - I haven't used these myself yet, but have had very good support from TI on other processor families. This is a BIG step from the AVR and PIC devices, in numerous ways.

My opinion here is choose right hardware ...... I mean porting of Android OS will require bit more support from Hardware ..... and I think you need to have sufficient external or internal RAM for execution..... ARM9 core and onward micro-controller will be sufficient.....but you need mostly external RAM on board.....

Here is a link of Hardware which I had used for personal development.....

and this hardware have android support.... How ever I have only work on Ubuntu driver interfacing on the hardware with external sensors and logging of the data parameters in the application layer.... you can get more info in friendly-arm forum

Good Luck
